Someone asked about a laser thermometer.  This link is from a great 
catalog.  They have one for $79.  I buy digital thermometer/hygrometers 
from here.   They also have thermometers for checking the temperature 
at the bottom of a manure pile (for those of you who really need 
something like that <g>).
