I suppose DICKRAN already, so there is no way you can check with him.  :-)

I've run across performers who seemed to want their boots, etc., polished,
but, being tall, I was never able to stoop that low.  Makes for a polite,
business-like atmosphere.  However, I've never heard of that one.  Thanks
for the warning, John.
