Barbara Cassaday's "Executive Outlook" May 2004

Journal Readers and Authors,

Here is Barbara Cassaday's "Executive Outlook" as it will appear in the 
May issue of the Journal. On thursday April 22nd I asked her and the 
executive Board to not publish this message unchanged since I would find 
it completely unacceptable to work under these conditions. On Friday the 
23rd she informed me that her message will be published unchanged.

I am leaving soon on a trip to Canada to attend the Quebec conference 
with a stop over in Montreal. Chris and I have not had the energy to 
respond to all the e-mails we have been receiving and hope that all of 
you can forgive us for not responding until we return.

Thank you all, there is obviously a great deal of support for the Journal.
