Another way to look at this is from the stance of the salaried technician. Grabbing numbers out of the air... $43K/yr plus a 7K benefit package. That'a $50K/yr. Assuming a 40 hour week and 50 week year equates to $25/hr. So a 1 hour tuning costs the institution $25. Jon Page
