[pianotech] Yamaha butt cord jig

I had to replace hammer spring cords on a Yamaha U1 and it did not have the
butt plates holding the hammers to center pin, so I was unable to use Jon
Page's protocol. Instead, after fighting with a few, I made this simple
fixture and share for your amusement and so Joe the Tool Captain can tell me
how I did it wrong. (just kidding, Joe)

I figured out my little flush trimming saw was perfect for cleaning out the
grooves.

The jig is simply a nail near the edge of the work bench that I drop the
flange over. Using a trap work spring screwed to the bench next to it, I can
lift the spring and put its hole over the nail as well, trapping the flange
to the bench.

I trap the first end of the new cord under the trap spring as well

I dab a tiny bit of thick CA into the grooves using my bulb syringe and then
line the cord into the left groove. There is a nail in the front of the work
bench as well that I wrap the cord around. Using tweezers I then pull it up
into the other groove, hold it firmly then spray some accelerator, wait a
few seconds, trim the excess and remove from the jig.

My workbench top is just cheap OSB so I have no qualms about drilling holes
in it as needed.

It's ugly, but it works.
