[pianotech] real costs of running a listserv list

I think it's ridiculous to consider a pay-to-play list. I for one will not,
given that there is an obvious, quality alternative in googletech. Is
googletech be-all-to-end-all? Heck no. But it is infinitely simpler than
collecting fees from everyone, not to mention dealing with all the other
associated headaches. Google Groups is simple, straightforward, free, and
already in place. Sheesh!
