----- Original Message ----- From: Ryan Sowers - There are a number of spray products that contain Teflon, then there are the Teflon powders. I have found the powder to be a fairly benign product to use on the piano. I use it sparingly on keybeds and hammer knuckles. - How thin is the powder, like talc? Or is it in a paste like those old graphite powders? FWIW I recently worked on an old Werner grand (1922 I think), that someone went crazy with graphite, my hands looked like a coal miner's, and it slowed the whole process down when I had to be super conscious not to pass the graphite smears onto anything else. If Teflon is a health hazard, I wonder about all the cooking pans and what not, it's everywhere. -Aron-
