"An extremely inexpensive attempt at introducing some levity into the
convention via the registration process/making funny video's is made, and
is met with this kind of vitriol, directed at our leadership? I would
suggest that to someone who has no prejudices against the "leadership",
this appears as though folks are really looking hard for reasons to not
like them. And - I would guess this is something produced by the Institute
Committee, rather than the "leadership."

Lighten up, it's two tongue depressors and a piece of paper to introduce
some humor. Is it really such a cataclysmic event that it needs this kind
of ire? I don't really think so. Lighten up folks."

Mr.William R. Monroe,
I suspect my comments were mispercieved in their intent. I suppose, under
the circumstances that is easy to do. I simply want to know if anyone in
the position of "Management" or "Authority" gave this an evaluation or OK'd
it, as it seems like we've sunk to a new low of Sophomoric Stupidity. The
main point is: It cost money, (ours!), to put that out. In these tight
economic times, we all have had to "tighten the belt", but that does not
seem to be the case with the aforementioned group(s). We have to suffer
YEARLY dues increases in order to maintain a semblence of "benfits" for our
dollars. And yet, I'm not seeing any "belt tightening" on the othe side.
Simply commenting in my own fashion. If it strikes you as an "attach",
well, then, so be it, even tho it was not meant as such!
Joe
