A few years ago I fitted a set of Rear Toe casters to a piano in a church community hall. At that time I didn't have a tilter, and four retired gents from the church helped put it down and up again. After I had drilled pilot holes with two sizes of drill bit, and applied Protek MPL1 to the woodscrew threads and screwed them in, one of the gentlemen remarked, to my pleasure, "Those screws were ENGINEERED in!"

Best regards,

David.

Even so, it's incumbent on the user to make some attempt to learn to sensibly install any type of screw or bolt.
