[pianotech] Separated bridge cap

Is there such a thing as "sound deterioration" in the treble of a Baldwin Hamilton?  I mean something beyond that which occurs in most any Baldwin Hamilton.

PS:  Sometimes, when the sound is so bad, less volume can actually be a good thing.....  :-(
