Thumpe,
There is an old saying that "you can sell anything- but you can't give
away your best ideas".

Before you go and rip out a whole player action, try spending less
than $10 on Ultra Odor Gone in a plastic tub. Put it down on the
bottom of your piano, and close it up for a week. I expect the odor
will be gone and no new odor will replace it. This stuff is odorless
and safe. It is uses in museums after fires and they can open it up to
visitors in a couple days. You gotta try it to believe it. The
following quote was on their web site. I can just imagine the smell
!!!!!!

Quote:
"I had a fridge in my camper trailer fail with frozen fish inside.
Three weeks later I found it, in the July heat. Tried all the home
ideas with no luck. Talked to you guys and we set out 3 tubs and some
spray for the fridge seal. It worked, I can't believe how good that
stuff is. Well I'm back five years later with the same problem with
crawdads. Along with my neighbor Todd Martin has rotting Trout and
hamburger to deal with. Bad luck with RV fridges, We're getting our
order together. Thanks!"

What on earth does ".....done to the "nth": $1,500 spent plating
hardware" mean or have to do with anything? Sounds to me like some
very poor decisions were made along the way with this project.

And if you "...all started violently coughing when the lid was
opened." Why didn't you just close the lid and walk away?

These stories really eat up a lot of bandwidth for no good reason that
I can understand.

Even by sequestering all the action parts in a high-intensity ozone-blast chamber for a month! So I'm replacing the action parts with those from another "Standard" player, but still need some keys.

If any of y'all want a set, please let me know.
