Hi, Sometimes I think and at other times I do not. The Difficulty may be that the once tight rivet that is the 'hinge' has worn through the years and allows the flat iron to flop like a dead fish. Two taps with a light hammer against a solid surface would tighten the hinge and allow one to position the hinge without having to hold both ends at the same time. It would also give the player more control of the fall board when closing the board. Yes, definitely take off the guides. Forgot to mention that this time, although it was mentioned earlier in the thread. I'm confused all the time. <G> -- John Formsma, RPT Blue Mountain, MS On Fri, Aug 10, 2012 at 10:25 AM, Ron Nossaman <rnossaman at cox.net> wrote: On 8/10/2012 10:13 AM, John Formsma wrote: Two is plenty, but as I recall, it does help to take those guides off of the case sides.
