Every PTG member on this list has already been pre-subscribed to the
PTG-L list, which is designated as the one list intended to discuss
the internal politics and workings of the organization. Many of you
may have ignored this particular list in the past as beyond your
level of commitment. At this point, it is the one place where your
views on the future of this list have any visibility. I have asked
Barbara Cassady, the Executive Director of the PTG, to post
instructions to this list as to how each of you can access that list,
where the conversation has begun, hopefully to be continued in a
civil, informative way. If there is a way to gain that access
without having to sign on to the web site, I've asked that she convey
that as well. I hope this will be forthcoming shortly. Meanwhile,
if you have not already done so, and would consider trying once more
to engage the website format, but need friendly encouragement, you
should call the home office at (913) 432-9975. Someone will be happy
to talk you through it.

Be clear: signing on does not represent a de facto vote in favor of
that format over this. It only represents a place where what you say
has a chance of being heard.

Please note: non-members can access some of the web-based lists, but
not PTG-L.

Last Chance, coming up.
