[pianotech] Changes at Steinway - Dana Messina resigns

I should qualify that: out of the box Kawai is better, and since most pianos
you encounter are out of the box and haven't had an adequate prep, this
gives an edge to brands like Kawai or Yamaha. But a little voicing and
regulation work makes the YC come alive compared to the Kawai, my anecdotal
evidence. YMMV

Why would you "slam" them? Seems rather extreme. Perhaps you could state it
as a preference. Personally I tune several YCs and on average I'll pick them
over Kawai any day.

Hi Wim,

You are right!  I just wanted to slam YC!  How'd I do?!  I do hope they
don't buy Steinway, though.  Enjoy wonderful Hawaii!  We are going through
fall around here.cold weather soon to  hit!
