[pianotech] New List

Ah, such an optimist, to think they actually read it there.

They have been talking about moving the New Hampshire Primary back into
December. Is it too early to start looking for better candidates for PTG
offices?

David and other PTG members,

I just began a discussion on PTG-L list about the my.ptg.org
<http://my.ptg.org/> forum. I know talking about it here is wonderfully
cathartic, but on PTG-L we can actually communicate with those who have the
power to change this stuff.

I'm all for ditching the stupid Higher Logic crap, but if it happens, it's
probably not gonna happen by talking about it on this list.

See you on PTG-L....

Yeah. Fascinating. Our organization, our dues, our passion, our devotion to
this community, yet no vote, no voice, no communication. The men on the
Board and on the Committee responsible for this change looked me in the eye
at the Convention in KC and said that if this provider didn't get it
together, they had NO PROBLEM in pulling the plug, and soon; that's close to
a direct quote. It's 3 months later; what's gotten better? My friends, it's
a trust issue between leadership and the membership. If someone tells me
something face-to-face, and then there is no follow-up, no reports, no
follow-through, trust goes down. It's that simple.

I am sure the new list would disappear and the old list would stay. Sigh!

that that's any excuse for it to be delayed like that. I've accidentally
tried to post from the wrong originating email address and it manages to
tell me so in fairly short order... five or ten minutes... so I'm thinking
maybe there's something "up" (or actually, something "down") at the
vendors... could it be? The shock! The horror!
