John, Steve, I just found a youtube video showing a combination of the Spurlock method, while using the Buchmaster type tool, so there is very little waste. The system looks very good and I think it will save quite a bit of time. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19atg2J2XQs What do you think of this method? Based on having used the spurlock system I think the BM will be faster. I am going to try using Spurlock Cauls. Although I am a few days away from doing the job I will let you know how it goes. I also agree with cost of time vs. cost of bushing material. > > Steven Hopp > Midland, TX > > From: alliedpianocraft at hotmail.com > Date: Wed, 29 Jun 2011 07:23:06 -0400 > To: pianotech at ptg.org; ptg_pianotechne at egroups.ptg.org > Subject: [pianotech] Rebushing Keys > > I have been using the Spurlock method for rebushing key. I am now looking at the Bushmaster system sold by Pianotek in order to increase my speed. I'm sure I can still use my Spurlock cauls. > > Any thoughts on which system is faster?
