Hi, Bruce,

Thank you very much for passing this along.

Virgil was one of the giants of the profession long before I got 
started...now more than forty years ago.  As you note, he was 
tireless in trying to raise standards of both training and 
performance for piano technicians.  Even more than the vast gifts he 
lavished on the profession, though, I will always remember him as a 
deeply human being...from which all else flows.
