Hi Bruce, Having a bad day ? customers got you down? Or has some piano tuner been saying nasty things about you ? I know that Tassie is down under down under but comments are supposed to be enlightening not down under the belt. And you forgot to mention the elasticity of the various stickers and the effects of lack of moisture penetration with the fluctuation of the humidity. Now there is a thought. What would happen if we covered the entire back of the soundboard with plastic stickers ? Would it reduce the effects of humidity variations and thus make the piano more stable in tuning ? Your thoughts please. How many stickers have you observed on the actual soundboard? What would be their combined weight, if stacked together on one location? If they are loose, do the buzz or rattle?
