Thanks all for the response. Ryan, I could not open your response from my blackberry so I will try to read from my pc. Like everyone else I do my job with passion and set certain standards. Yes after 20+years of tuning I have turned many difficult customers into long time ones but not this time. I will let it go . I'd tell them that if I can't meet their standards, they're welcome to look elsewhere. And if they have absolute pitch, why the hell do they even bother with an electronic tuner for verification - unless they don't? And if neither their electronic tuner, nor their absolute pitch can provide any better detail, why am I required to indulge it? Doesn't compute. When I get the call starting with "You'll probably think I'm crazy, but...", I'm all ears, and ready to schedule a service call because they are nearly never without grounds for concern, but just don't understand what's really happening. When the call starts with "I have perfect pitch", it's nearly always absolute nonsense, and almost never justifies time spent.. I have to attend either way, but the intuitive gifted amateur expert is universally a monumental pain in the ass. Ron N
