If the only thing you use the TV for is to watch those tapes, then, yes, the TV can be taken off as a "tool". But if you use it to watch a ball game, or your favorite soap, then you can only deduct that percentage of time you watch the DVD. Kind of like your car. I figure that 80% of my time I drive my car is for business purposes. The other 20% is for personal use.
