  I have to keep an actual mileage log.
  I bought a new van last year, and they specifically told me that driving it home from the dealers, 7Km was not a business expense. I nearly fell over and asked her if she was joking. She said no.

    If the only thing you use the TV for is to watch those tapes, then, yes, the TV can be taken off as a "tool". But if you use it to watch a ball game, or your favorite soap, then you can only deduct that percentage of time you watch the DVD. Kind of like your car. I figure that 80% of my time I drive my car is for business purposes. The other 20% is for personal use.
