Years ago, when we had a small store on the main drag in town, a tuner new to the areacame along looking for work. He convinced us to let him paint a "faux" finishon an old upright piano that we rolled out on the street and used as a sign.He said he would make it Red, white and Blue. I asked "won't that look purple?"He assured me it wouldn't. when I arrived back from my tuning there sat--a purple piano! A colleagues' wife howled in laughter.Diane Red, White and Blue? Boring! Combine all these colours and the result is a piano that I have in my shop. Realy funky, but obviously too funky for most customers. I try to sell it for 2 years. Hmm, perhaps I will take it in my private flat.
