[pianotech] tool cases

Perhaps, Duaine does not have a lot of service calls in the field, or
everything must come to the shop, which I can understand, being players
and such, but..... Wow, the piano cartage must be a real burden, eh? 7
years is a lot for any service case....to look professional, that is. When
I was "in the field", I replaced one every 5 years....sometimes more
often....and that was with high quality professional cases. I have a Genck
(spelling) that has lasted many years, but I now have all my "rarely used"
tuning tools in it which I pull out in "special occasions!" Customer
surely anticipates a higher bill when I have to make a special trip to the
car and bring this beast in. Of course, I speak to them first to see if
this repair is what they want! Beyond this, the rebuilding conversation
comes out...

I tried your first case, or what looks like, from Home Depot up here.
I returned it, it was a cheap imitation of the US made one I got over
30 years ago.
The tool holders were plastic, not even of a thick guage.
I doubted if it would last 3 months.
For the most part, you only get what you pay for.
These two cases are too cheap.
