[pianotech] Las Vegas convention-apology addendum

Hello again-

I admit I am new - and did not understand the reliance for revenue the guild
has on members staying in the hotel that the convention is taking place at

I have been involved in other organizations where the accommodation choice
had little or no relevance to the convention

Thanks for your understanding everyone, it was not my intention to undermine
the guild!

Zoe

I apologize for my post- I did not realize it was so offensive to the guild.

Please try to get beyond it

Zoe

This is an unfortunate development, and could mean a disaster for the
Guild if the word gets around and technicians hole up elsewhere (or
don't bother to attend). Room rents in large part pay for the convention
meeting rooms.

I stayed at Bally's about nine years ago and had no problems but
conditions may have changed.

I'm posting a copy of this to the home office and case they might be
able to head this off by posting current conditions or whatever is
appropriate.

Regards,
Tom Cole
