Although I'm Dave's apprentice, I would like to offer the following, independent of his influence. Most people are surprised and appreciative when I vacuum the inside of their piano. One friend of mine specifically asked if I vacuum, because she felt it was "good service." From the customer's viewpoint, they aren't likely (and I think that's a good thing) to clean the inside of their piano. Most are afraid of damaging something, requiring another service call.
