[pianotech] Tuning pin torque?!?!?

I also use the Bolduc 5-ply maple, and my experience mirrors yours. Average 
 torque after a year is about 100-110 ip. Initial torque is in the range of 
 140-160 ip--starting friction higher then leveling.
