[pianotech] Damper Spring Cord

I'm getting into this late and have not read all posts but to make an
appropriately sized cord there is a specific procedure.

You want the lead end to be pointed to insert into the flange. To
accomplish this, start with a length of stranded cord and pull numerous
strands from the non-lead end to maybe 2". Pull numerous other strands
to 1". Pull the lead end sleeve taut to a point. You get the picture.

Pull which0-ever various strands to different lengths to create a 
graduated taper.

Harden the lead end with your favorite glue in order to thread it through the
flange yokes.
