Understood completely. Occasionally I got up the wrong side of the bed and then had to come to my senses later, apologize & then get over being the offender Hate that.

Yes Dale but, the point is being missed or ignored. Being a professor gives the person no more free reign to make an ass out of someone else to show they know more than that other person than it would for me or you to make an ass out of them. What is good for the goose then becomes good for the gander. Maybe it's time their egos were wrinkled and see how they like it?

Look at this list as a college course where half the class could be the professors who are generally well meaning and intend to be helpful but on occasion don't suffer fools gladly. The price of admission may be a wrinkled ego once in a while but I personally have learned a great deal from information, perspective and paradigm shifts.

Keep those cards and letters coming friends!

Hi everyone,
It is hard to get the feel of how something is said in e-mail. that's why having the :-) sure help.

I will admit however, I do feel intimidated on occasion to ask a question that may appear simple in nature because so many folks here are "seasoned" so to speak. In fact I was reamed and burnished in an e-mail a while back from someone on this list I know personally. It was in a private e-mail fortunately.

My thinking is that everyone is at different levels of learning in ths field and those who may not know as much can glean from those who do without feeling intimidated should be the goal. Viewing "the words"only posted rather than trying to understand its attitudinal value is by far the best way to go. So you guys who may appear little rough and gruff out there keep the :-) and <grin> coming.
