My guess is that you do not have a "square grand", but rather a "spinet grand". I think the sphrase "spinet grand" is case into the plate in the forward bass corner. I also service on of these pianos. Everything is basically like a normal modern grand - except for the bass being angled. If you have any specific questions, fire away!
