I came across a D5 damper problem on a Wurlitzer grand – tried Protek first (didn’t work), then pulled the action & found that the damper wouldn’t drop back into place – it hangs (up). The sostenuto bar runs across the back action & looks like it would prevent me from removing the flange & lubricating it (if that’s even the issue or the proper solution). It’s a Wurlitzer 5’10” grand model C153 s/n 763339 – looks like 1962 is the manufactured date according to my piano atlas Any thoughts would be helpful. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
