[pianotech] plate refinishing

Sorry, I misunderstood.
Run a tap down the threads, to make sure they are clean, if any paint does get in.
Would old tuning pins, fit enough to cover the holes?

  The agraffes all out of the plate. I just don't want too much paint to get into the plate's threads and mess up the agraffes alignement when I put them back in.
   
  I do use the reamer after buffing the agraffes.

  How about the reamer from Pianotek, then they would be refaced as well, as the paint removed.

    I was just wondering what you guys use to cover the agraffes' holes when you refinish a plate. It's been so long that I don't remember.
