He wrote that he lubricated the bridle straps, so I believe it´s not just removing dust. As mentioned, I will ask him. He left Austria for a 4 week Germany tuning/repairing tour and visited me on Sunday, but I think he is not online for that time. Concerning the keyboard: he uses a standard polish for keytops as available at piano supply stores (hard, not viscous). The trick is that he uses an orbirtal sander which has no high speed and therefore produces not too much heat. He uses a felt mounted on that sander and lubricates that felt with spiritus.
