Barbara - I just went out and counted. I've got 31 spotlights and 5 flourescent fixtures in the main room of my shop. I'll send you a picture, so if anyone says you're overdoing you can say - Well, at least I'm not as bad as the this guy that sent me this picture. But really, when you're working on any fine detail work, you want light coming in from multiple angles. I've got my lights on eleven switches, so I can light up one discrete area at a time, or if I just want the shop to feel like a sunny day, I can flip them all on at once and watch my electric meter spin.
