s'wad i'd do. just be sure that when the new one goes in (shim or/ remove matrerial) and the string goes on that the string is level with the others. What I may do to extract the broken piece (it has broken pretty flush with the plate), is take an awl with my handy hammer and make a slot so I can then take my screwdriver and slowly back the broken agraffe out.
