On the 243 I tuned yesterday, the becket holes on the top row of pins were all oriented in the 8/2 o'clock (analog) position making those sharp ends all sticking up as far as possible. I'm certainly glad I'm not more visually impaired than I am, or I would get lacerated every time I tried to locate what pin I'm on. I once watched a fastidious customer quickly reach in to take care of the horrid dust, only to immediately shred her dust rag.
