So, if you kept switching the postion of the piano and the player from North
to South, and back again; would that make you bi-polar?

How can both the player and the piano be "facing" the same 
direction? Does he sit on the pedals and reach overhead for 
the keys? He could really throw his back out keeping up with 
the tempo pedal in that position. And what about the effect of 
directional alignment of the beckets on the music? Sounds like 
pretty sloppy playing to me.
