Also, in case it may have been too late, and you find out about them being
sick during the appointment;
ZICAM, and I carry a small spray bottle of wintergreen alcohol in my bag for
my hands, also spray some around my mouth and nose. It works.

Greetings,

      You bet!...This situation quietly infuriates me, because of the
inconsideration or....it is the height of ignorance! When there were bad colds or
flu going around, I have already called ahead to "confirm" the appointment
the day before, and ask if anyone in the house is sick, if no, then "OK clear
everything off the top of the piano and I'll see you at...."

  By the same standard, if I am sick or even feel something coming on, I
cancel, and am not afraid to tell them it is because I wish them not to get it.

I learned this the hard way, then my brother (who works in homes as well)
told me he stays outside the door and says, "Oh, I am so sorry, can we
reschedule? I don't want to spread anything to my next customer after you." and
leaves with; "I hope you feel better soon."
