We used Mahogany plywood ?for construction material Viet Nam back in the '60.

When I was in Japan in 1996, I saw raw mahogany plywood being used for concrete forms around building sites. Maybe they were recycled soundboards? Or the other way around--from the construction site to the piano factory! :-)
