[pianotech] String rattle

I would look at the bridges. Once I had one where a bridge pin on the tenor
bridge was not driven in far enough and the bass string would rattle on it
when played loud.

  Subject: [pianotech] String rattle

I have an older upright piano. I have two notes that have rattles in
when played. C and D in the bass section. I have replaced both strings
for the D and still have the rattle. How can I determine the source of the
rattle. Sound Board has no cracks.

  Thanks

  Joe
