photo reduction-farther OT

Can someone explain why a connection would time out before picture files 
can be sent? I have this on three computers.  I'm using either 
Thunderbird, as Outlook won't work, Outlook on another, and Outlook 
express, yahoo.sbcglobal being the dsl server...... thanks
