Plate Crack - how lethal?

Hello John,
 
   What is the brand of this piano?  This will usually  
tell us it's potential as a musical instrument.  
 
   A restored  Sturn is still a Sturn.  And  A restored 
M-H is still a  M-H.
 
   My experience with a crack such
as this one is to ignore it,  it will hold tune 
or it won't.
