If I'm not mistaken, the C171 Howard was mfgd for Baldwin in the Samick factory.
Had Dilignit block, Rosseleau (sp) wire and other similar specs to the manufacturing process at the time.
Poly creaks and moans abounded. Marginally acceptable sound and tone for the size. 5 foot +  range.
Normal quality for the competitive times of the '80's where inexpensive pianos were driving the market and
companies were trying to compete with Japan's piano manufacturing.
I would try to find a customer for the piano first before committing to purchasing it as it might eat up a lot of
storage space while you're trying to sell it. Maybe a hobbyist player or a family looking for a lesson piano where they
would eventually trade up.
