Bechstein B hammer rake / more thoughts

Been reading some more back posts from years gone by on problems with
getting actions in because hammers wont slip under the stretcher.
Essentially that means that either the hammers are mounted totally
bonkers... or the action is designed so that the hammers tops are
significantly higher then the hammer shank rail. The palette of
instruments we get here in the far north is admittedly somewhat
constrained... but I cant say I remember ever running into an instrument
so designed.

Can anyone give an example of an instrument designed to have its hammers
5 mm + higher then the tops of the shank flanges ??

Cheers
