Thanks for your input on locating plates.  I love jigs and go-no go gauges.
Anything that can be measured can (and will!) be measured wrong.

I haven't managed to lose a locator hole yet (yet) either, and 
I can use the same two for everything. Different strokes, and 
this works for me and my personal idiosyncrasies. The 
important thing is having something that works.
