Tom, Do I know anybody who has had their identity stolen? As a matter of fact I do...my son. This may be considered OT but being you raised the question. My oldest son works in construction, he is frequently laid off when the project he's working gets done. For several years the unemployment office has told him that there are about twenty people using his Social Security #. They will do nothing about it. Furhter he got a bill from a local hospital for around $500 bucks. He was able to get it striaghtend out because the bill was for treatment of a small child. My son has no children! But that is not the worst thing that can happen. Suppose someone used your name and address to create a new identity, then commits a crime. You could get thrown in the slammer for something you did not do. Believe me this has happened. Now this may not have anything to do with shredding the 07 PTG directory. I was just wondering what others may do. I personally like the directory and use it on ocation. I shreded the parts with members names last year. It's not that big a deal really.
