While you have the butts out, don't miss this opportunity to address 
the catcher
buckskin as well. It will probably be fairly worn throughout the center.

Might as well do all catchers as you do the butts, center section at 
the very least.
Don't let the catchers wear out and the butts still be viable. 
Nothing worse than
hammers that won't check, figuratively speaking.
