What great reading these two items were. I guess we all have stories about
pianos that fell off the back of trucks.
Mine is similar. A head teacher of a local school decided to take the family
piano to school for a special event, because the school did not own a piano.
He loaded it on the Ute and off he went. He turned into the school's street,
however the piano didn't. It landed in a million bits all over the highway.
I was asked to re-build this family heirloom, which was like doing a jigsaw.
It all went back together in the end and is still being used today. On
asking why he did not secure it to the vehicle, he claimed it was heavy
enough to stay there on its own. The comment I wish to make about this
is,'You can always tell a school teacher, but not bloody much!!'
