Strange tuning system

Hi Kerry,
Aside from the unlikelihood of being able to physically get 
the tuning tool on the bottom pin row and have enough swing 
room to do the deed, I think it's pretty slick. I can't really 
tell from the photo, but it looks like (and seems reasonable 
that) the socket in the tuning wrench is oriented something 
between 45° and 90°, so it can be flipped over to get an 
effective eight point bite from a four point wrench, for that 
reason. An eight point socket at half that angle offset would 
be even better.

How did the mechanics of turning pins go?
