very strange tuning mechanism

On the one that I service it had autoharp size pins on the fine tuner and regular pins on the other. They hopefully do not have that piano any more. It was one of the most used up instruments I had seen for a while.

  No, the pins were standard, but they had some kind of contraption (half of a washer) that would push the wire towards the block in the non speaking length.
