In light of recent post: Training, experimentation and civil dialogue are
very important on becoming a competent technician; it is in essence how we
learn.  It is not a good idea to experiment on customer's pianos, but it
does happen.  One of the very best experiences I ever had hands down was
training the "Yamaha Little Red School House" and "Yamaha Performance Piano
Seminar".  If you have not done so, attend them if you can.
